Watch Coral Spawning Live!

Thanks to the student-based nonprofit Teens4Oceans this incredible event was captured near Grand Cayman Island via an underwater camera system.

Annual coral spawning of reefs around the world is something spectacular to witness live. And, until now, you had to be at the right place, at the right time underwater and almost always at night. Thanks to Teens4Oceans anyone with a web-enabled device anywhere in the world will have the opportunity to watch the first ever, live streaming of a coral-spawning event. This live streaming will come from the East End of Grand Cayman, and will be featuring a boulder star coral (Montastraea annularis)

If you do not want to miss the next spawning, checkout their website : http://teens4oceans.org/
